Top 10 Thanksgiving Foods

1. Turkey
The ultimate must-have for every Thanksgiving feast, unless you’re a vegetarian (in which case, have fun with your tofu, I guess). Celebrate your American-ness with the perfect American bird and be amazed by just how dry it can be when cooked by your older relatives.

2. Mashed potatoes
Perfection when whipped properly, mashed potatoes are the perfect side dish. Just pile them onto your plate shamelessly, salt heavily, and presto, that feeling of regret is the tastiest you will ever experience.

3. Cranberry sauce
The perfect tangy sidekick to any other dish. Feel free to mix it with mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, and more for an unbelievable flavor combination every time.

4. Stuffing

Or really just any vegetables at this point. It’s not like you’re piling up your plates at the dining halls with greens every day. Besides, any vegetable tastes better when your family cooks it.

9. Biscuits
This is really a year-round food, but it’s especially great for the holidays. Warm biscuits with butter — oh I can’t wait for Thanksgiving.

Arguably the tastiest dessert ever created, apple pie is sure to finish you off and K.O. you into the perfect food coma.
